1. Scope and acceptance
These terms govern Readeep Writer Studio at studio.readeep.net and submissions for release on the reader website readeep.net. “Readeep” means the operating entity/individual identified in the contact section. “You” means the user or an authorized representative of an organization using Studio.
The Content & copyright policy forms part of these terms. The Privacy policy explains data processing. You acknowledge and accept the terms at Studio’s consent step; each publication submission requires declarations about the specific content. If you disagree, you should not continue using the relevant functions.
2. Accounts and collaboration
You must have the legal capacity required to enter this agreement, including any legally required parental/guardian consent or representation. Account, author, organization and representative details must be truthful. A pen name does not remove a duty to provide valid verification when necessary.
Protect your Google account, session and configured API keys; grant workspace access appropriately. Members are responsible for their actions, and workspace managers must be authorized to delegate work and submit shared content. Workspace membership does not itself transfer copyright between members.
3. Features and Readeep’s role
Studio provides story projects, plots, characters, worldbuilding, chapters and versions; reference imports and pattern analysis; AI assistance, jobs and credits; collaboration, publication profiles, moderation submissions and release scheduling. Available functions depend on permissions, configuration and the applicable plan.
For content you provide, Readeep supplies infrastructure and intermediary services for storage, processing, moderation and delivery to readers. Storage, AI assistance, profile approval or story moderation does not certify copyright, guarantee legality or promise publication.
4. Content and copyright responsibility
You bear full responsibility under applicable law for legality, truthful declarations and sufficient rights in content you upload, import, generate, edit or submit, including text, translations, covers, illustrations, descriptions and references. You must hold the relevant rights or valid permission covering the intended use and the rights granted to Readeep.
Verify the chain of rights, co-author and owner permissions, territory, duration, publication and Internet communication rights. Keep evidence and provide it on reasonable request. Do not impersonate authors, conceal sources, forge licenses or repost works simply because they are freely readable online. Notify Readeep promptly of expiry, revocation or a rights dispute.
5. Private drafts and references
You and the relevant rights holders retain your lawful rights. Using Studio does not transfer ownership to Readeep. You permit processing, storage, backup, formatting and transfer to technical/AI providers as needed for features you use, security and legal compliance.
Uploading drafts or references to a workspace does not itself authorize public reader access. Access depends on workspace roles and legitimate operational needs. Reference analysis does not grant permission to copy protected expression or republish the source.
6. License to publish on Readeep websites
By confirming and submitting content for release, you grant Readeep a non-exclusive license, limited to rights you hold, to reproduce it for storage and technical distribution, display it and communicate the approved content, chapters and cover to the public on Readeep websites. Readers may access it from countries where the website is available. Do not submit if your rights are territorially restricted and Readeep cannot enforce the corresponding restrictions.
Readeep may format content for devices, cache it, and use your supplied title, pen name, cover and synopsis to introduce that work on Readeep pages. Infrastructure providers may perform only the tasks necessary for these purposes. This license does not authorize selling rights, independently translating or adapting works, exploitation outside the platform, or training general-purpose AI models on the work; those purposes require an appropriate separate legal basis and agreement.
The license begins on submission for processing. Public display starts only after approval and according to the release schedule. You may withdraw a pending submission through available controls or request removal through the contact channel. Public display rights end when removal is implemented; Readeep processes requests without unreasonable delay and within mandatory deadlines, if any. Restricted backups and copies held for evidence or legal duties cannot be used for continued public exploitation.
To the extent permitted by law, this reading-publication license creates no separate royalty payment from Readeep unless otherwise agreed or legally required. Revenue sharing, author payments or exclusivity require a separate agreement. You must not grant royalty-free use if your agreement with the rights holder forbids it.
7. AI, generated output and references
You must have valid rights in AI inputs and review outputs before use or publication. AI can produce inaccurate, duplicated or infringing content. Readeep does not guarantee unique, non-infringing or automatically copyright-protected output.
Accurately disclose AI assistance in publication submissions and take responsibility for the final text. Workspace API keys/providers may carry separate charges and provider terms. Do not use AI, pattern analysis or rewriting to conceal copying.
8. Submission, release and enforcement
Submissions are stored as versioned snapshots. Later draft edits do not automatically change a submission or the version readers see; publication changes follow moderation. Confirm authorship, sources, permissions, AI use, age ratings, warnings and scheduling accurately.
Readeep may request evidence, reject submissions, require changes, temporarily hide or remove content, or restrict accounts to address violations, disputes, safety risks or lawful demands. Where law and safety allow, Readeep gives reasons and accepts explanations. Copyright procedures appear in the Content & copyright policy.
9. Plans and AI credits
The Plans & credits page describes entitlements, limits, duration and credits. Credits meter AI service use; they are not deposits or promised income. Reservations, charges and releases of unused reserved credits depend on processing outcomes. Your own provider may bill directly for API-key usage.
Make purchases only when checkout is offered with pricing, tax, duration and cancellation/refund conditions before confirmation. These terms do not establish automatic paid renewal, guarantee profit or remove mandatory refund or other statutory rights.
10. Payments, tax, invoices and refunds
A paid Writer plan is a one-time purchase for the duration shown at checkout and does not renew automatically. A newly confirmed plan starts immediately and replaces the current plan and its remaining plan credits under the replacement notice shown before payment.
Writer plan prices are displayed in USD by default. Polar charges in the checkout currency it supports. For SePay, Readeep converts an USD price to VND using the administrator-configured rate and permanently records the USD price, rate and exact VND amount on the order. A later rate change does not alter an existing order.
Polar may calculate and add tax based on the purchaser's information and applicable law. Receipts, invoices or VAT documents are provided only to the extent supported by the payment provider and required from the identified Readeep operator under applicable law. Contact Readeep before purchase if legally required billing details must appear on a document.
You may request a refund through the contact channel with the order and payment references. Readeep reviews eligibility under the displayed purchase conditions, service use, provider rules and mandatory law. A confirmed full refund ends the plan tied to that payment and expires its remaining plan credits; a partial refund is recorded for manual review and does not automatically restore used credits. SePay refunds are transferred outside Readeep before an administrator records them, so recording alone does not send money. Processing follows mandatory deadlines or otherwise a reasonable period after sufficient verification.
For a bank transfer, use only the receiving bank account, exact VND amount and transfer content displayed for that specific unexpired checkout. You are responsible for checking those details and reporting any wrong, duplicate, late or mismatched transfer promptly. Readeep is responsible for maintaining the displayed receiving-account configuration, securing provider credentials, reconciling authenticated provider records and investigating review-required transactions; it does not ask you to transfer to an account sent only through an unofficial message.
11. Liability limits and compensation
To the extent permitted by law, Readeep does not assume the uploader’s responsibility for ownership, origin, accuracy or infringement arising from uploaded content and declarations. It does not guarantee uninterrupted service or prevention of copying by others. Uploaders must explain, cooperate in resolving and answer for their own violations.
If your breach or false declaration causes harm to Readeep or a rights holder, you must compensate substantiated actual losses and reasonable costs with a causal connection, under a lawful agreement or competent authority’s decision. Readeep must notify you of claims and allow you to respond; losses attributable to Readeep’s own responsibility are not shifted to you.
Nothing excludes mandatory obligations, responsibility for Readeep’s own conduct or third-party statutory rights. Intermediary exemptions apply only when legal conditions are met, including required infringement handling and cooperation with rights holders or competent authorities.
12. Termination, changes and disputes
You may stop using the service and send account or content requests through the contact channel. Termination does not erase accrued responsibilities; public removal, evidence retention and data handling follow the relevant policies.
Updates must identify the version and effective timing and be appropriately notified; material changes require renewed acceptance where law requires it. Amendments do not retroactively expand previously granted exploitation rights. Vietnamese law applies, subject to other mandatory rules. Parties may negotiate or seek a competent authority’s resolution without losing lawful complaint or court rights.
